Sumit Sinha Programme Associate
Sumit Sinha researches birds and is an illustrator, graphic and webpage designer. At NSI, Sumit is attempting to combine science with art, to help bring conservation science closer to people.

Activities at NSI
At NSI, Sumit Sinha uses his research and art skills to:

  • Developing the Art for Science Program at NSI
  • Designing posters, mugs, logos and websites for the Art for Science Program
Experience
  • Sumit researched cuckoo brood parasitism in southern India with the National Centre for Biological Sciences.
  • Sumit has designed and developed art for a wide-range of conservation programs in the Western Himalayas, including the logo for the Uttarakhand Spring Bird Festival.
